18 Apr Montvale Event Center
Downtown Spokane stands full of absolutely beautiful and historic buildings. The Montvale Event Center (MEC) is exactly one of many reasons that make Spokane so wonderful and interesting. Combining a historic atmosphere with modern day touches, MEC promises to provide a stunning location for any assortment of events.
Over a century ago, in 1909, the construction of the building began. It was built for the Order of Odd Fellows by Spokane architect, Albert Held. Numerous businesses operated out of the Odd Fellows IOOF Lodge, such as the Hall-Marvin Safe Company, the Riley Candy Company, and the Metronome Dance Hall. In 1999, the building was listed on the National Register of Historic Places.*
Nowadays, you can celebrate a wedding or party in style at the Montvale Event Center! The newly renovated venue is located two doors down from the Montvale Hotel in the historic Odd Fellows Building. There are three main floors to accommodate events. First floor features Montvale Hall, which accommodates up to 240 guests set at linen draped tables with lovely vineyard cross-back chairs. Upstairs, Ella’s Theater creates a second stunning location, marrying rich mahogany accents with stained glass windows for a timeless setting. Also on the second floor, a private bar and lounge area allows for smaller gatherings in a setting mixing cocktail tables with soft seating. The third floor showcases Ella’s Supper Club, perfect for for smaller receptions, meetings, or private dinners.** No matter the size of your party, MEC has a variety of options to meet your needs.
