Real butter is utilized to bake our delicious creations. We do not use shortening and margarine in our foods. These ingredients are lower in quality. Consider margarine; it can only be manufactured in a factory from vegetable oils that are treated with acids, bases, and bleaches in addition to high heats to produce the product found in grocery store aisles. Margarine lacks real nutritional value and has been found to increase heart disease.** In baking, real butter is a better choice.
Our desserts are made from real in-shell eggs. It may be surprising to hear that frozen pasteurized eggs are often used in bakeries to manufacture their products. These egg products often contain preservatives and emulsifiers. By baking everything from scratch, miFLAVOUR can ensure those unnecessary additives do not go into our desserts. Only high quality shelled eggs for miFLAVOUR creations!
miFLAVOUR desserts are benefited from pure vanilla extract. This precious and delicious commodity is harvested from an orchid plant of the genus Vanilla. However, not all vanilla flavors are the same. Inexpensive sources are natural or artificial vanilla imitation flavors. “Natural” vanilla flavor can be extracted from many sources but perhaps the most shocking source is castoreum, a secretion from the anal gland of beavers. “Artificial” vanilla flavor can be synthesized from wood pulp. That is why miFLAVOUR is proud to bake with pure vanilla extract to ensure only the highest quality ingredients go into our desserts.***

This chocolate has an amazing rich taste and uses non GMO ingredients: cacao beans, cacao butter, real vanilla and cane sugar.
